Spicy Cajun Sausage Alfredo

Ingredients:

8 oz fettuccine pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish
Directions:

Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced smoked sausage and cook until browned.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream, chicken broth, and Cajun seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy Cajun Alfredo sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
